Adventure Cinema presents three days of cinema favourites in the stunning setting of Sherwood Forest.

The weekend begins with everyone's favourite wizarding tale 'Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone' on the evening of Thursday 27th July.

The following day begins with the animated tale of Hawaiian princess Moana, who takes on the mighty god Maui to help her people.

Then it's the perfect Friday night movie - the 80s classic Dirty Dancing, with romance, great dancefloor moves and singalong tunes.

Saturday brings not one, not two but three films to bring the curtain down.

Julia Donaldson's much-loved children's story The Gruffalo and Stickman is shown in the morning.

2023 marks the 50th anniversary of Disney's classic animated version of Robin Hood and where better to celebrate that movie milestone than in Sherwood Forest itself in the afternoon?

The legend has been given the Hollywood live-action blockbuster treatment too with Russell Crowe starring as Sherwood's hero outlaw in the evening's presentation.
