The Harley Gallery
Free entry
Find yourself in the woods with an exhibition of striking Treescapes by Anthony Whishaw RA.
Anthony Whishaw started painting over 75 years ago. He discovered a love of drawing and painting whilst at school and has never looked back. Ranging from small works on paper to 6-metre-long canvases, these paintings are an exploration of his personal memories and experiences.
See eight of Whishaw's large-scale tree paintings, interpreting the artist's first-hand interactions and preoccupations with forests and woodland. These large, multi-layered, textural artworks intend to provide an immersive experience, turning the gallery into a painted forest to explore.
