This year, we lost one of cinema's truest, weirdest visionaries – David Lynch may be gone but he leaves behind him a body of work full of dazzling and unsettling images, indelible characters, and surreal puzzles to unpick. To pay tribute, we'll be revisiting one of the director's greatest works, Blue Velvet. Remember – keep your eye on the donut, not the hole.
Starring Lynch regular Kyle MacLachlan, Blue Velvet is the story of Jeffrey Beaumont, a college student who arrives back in his hometown only to find a severed human ear in a field which leads him to investigate a series of strange and violent goings-on.
Don't miss our Room to Dream: David Lynch on Film one-day course on Sat 29 March.
