Every October, Southwell holds The Bramley Festival to celebrate the origins of the Bramley Apple in Southwell.

The date of the 2018 festival is Saturday 20th October 2018.

The Bramley is famous and much loved throughout the world for its unique flavour and excellent cooking qualities. It remains one of the most widely grown British culinary apples. This festival attracts hundreds of local, national and international visitors. This food and drink festival is held in Southwell Minster and incorporates all manner of apple-related products, fruit specialists and craftsmen.

Join in the apple related competitionspoetry, apple pie baking, men’s baking, children’s baking, crotchet, knitting, craft and photography competitions. Entry forms will need to be submitted.
