Ray Butcher is an highly versatile British jazz trumpeter, pianist, and composer, widely recognised for his fluent, melodic playing style, and having built an extensive career spanning mainstream commercial pop, television, and international jazz circuits.
He has recorded, performed, or toured with an array of legendary music industry names, including Dr. John, Robbie Williams, Robert Plant, Mica Paris, Beverly Knight. He has toured many countries including the USA, Europe and the Middle East as a sideman with jazz combos, orchestras and even cruise ships!
He was the featured trumpet soloist on the track "God's Great Dance Floor" for Chris Tomlin's Grammy-nominated album Burning Lights, which reached No. 1 on the US Billboard 200 chart.
Butchers Brew has performed at Ronnie Scott's, The 606 Club, Matt and Phreds and many more.
