Carlton Male Voice Choir's Christmas Festival Concert returns to St Paul's Carlton – 5 Church St, Carlton, Nottingham. NG4 1BJ. Come and hear how the choir has developed over the year with all its new recruits!
This year's concert will feature Katharine Dryden as Kitty Mai, thrilling the audience with songs from the 1920s, 1930s, 1940s, swing, jazz, standards from The Great American Songbook, and music hall.

Carlton Male Voice Choir are proud to launch the new Music Maker Competition for the 25th Anniversary of the Music Maker Trophy in 2024.
Incorporating the NEW Constance Shacklock Memorial Prize
An exciting opportunity for young, talented musicians and singers Are you aged 16-20 with a passion for music, who loves performing and can produce music to a high standard? Carlton Male Voice Choir are looking for young musicians based in the Nottinghamshire area to compete in their annual Music Maker competition.
The main prize is the Music Maker Trophy and £700 along with the opportunity to perform at Carlton MVC's annual Festival Concert at the Albert Hall, Nottingham.
An additional prize of £500 will be awarded to the performer who shows the greatest potential.
This is a new prize, in memory of one of England's and Nottingham's finest opera singers, Constance Shacklock.
The Competition will feature Preliminary Performances and a Final Performance. These events will be open to the public and will be supported by performances by Carlton Male Voice Choir.
