The Cricket World Cup has arrived in Nottingham - home of the legendary Robin Hood! From Friday 31 May until Thursday 20 June, the world-famous Trent Bridge is playing host to five Cricket World Cup matches, with England, Australia, India, Pakistan, New Zealand, the West Indies and Bangladesh will all visiting Nottingham during the six-and-a-half week competition.
Whether you’re visiting Nottinghamshire just for the day to catch a match, or making a short break of it, we want to make sure you have a fantastic time, aside from witnessing some exhilarating cricketing action! From heading into the city for a bite to eat and a refreshing tipple at one of our many bars and restaurants, and checking out our diverse array of shops, to exploring stunning country houses and parks, and splendid museums and galleries, you certainly won’t be short on things to do in Nottingham.
Why not take a walk down West Bridgford's Bridgford Road, home to Trent Bridge itself? Just a five-minute walk away, you’ll find an abundance of lovely coffee shops, traditional pubs, chic restaurants and independent bakeries.
