A modern take on vintage 70s soul funk, Crowd Company, is one of the UK's top original soul funk bands. The 8-piece band is known for rich songwriting combined with catchy hooks, in-the-pocket grooves, and virtuoso musicianship and features three outstanding soulful vocalists.
Their last album Lowdown featured heavily on the BBC Radio 6 Craig Charles Show and was one of Craig's Top Picks of the Year. They released You Ain't Ready, a single remixed by DJ Smoove (Smoove & Turrell) to great acclaim.
Crowd Company are known for dynamic live performances. As well as frequently selling out venues the band has also toured with the likes of Soulive, The Meters' George Porter Jr, Daptone Records' Saun & Starr, and The Monophonics. Their last shows at Peggy's were sold out so early booking is recommended.
