Funhouse Comedy brings a New Year's Eve Special night of laughter to Norwood Park, Southwell on Wednesday December 31st.
Topping the bill is the intelligent, controversially witty, hip and silly Markus Birdman, who got to semis of last year's 'Britain's Got Talent'. Regarded by many in the know as one of the best circuit acts in the country, he has toured internationally and had highly acclaimed shows at the Edinburgh Festival. His dandyish onstage confidence, versatility and infectious nature result in a truly absorbing performance.
Opening the night will be the hilarious Jonny Awsum, who appeared on ITV's Britain's Got Talent and cajoled Ant and Dec into joining his audition and has supported Jason Manford on his arena tour. Starting out as barman at The Chuckle Club for eight years he then decided to take to the stage. With his guitar and musical parodies he amuses his audiences charming them with his warm and friendly persona, his style of audience participation is second to none. He has presented for Sky Sports, been warm up act for Big Brother and Loose Women and also starred in several adverts including Cravendale, The Post Office, Experian and even Puntigamer beer in Austria.
Completing the line-up is winner of Best Act in the Midlands Comedy Awards the exciting and energetic Duncan Oakley, who powers out a deft blend of stupidity mixed with impressive musicianship that yields hilarious results. His easy confidence and good natured banter leaves the crowd wanting for more.
Compere for the night will be the lively and chatty Spiky Mike
