Kim Cypher's Funky Latin Jazz Festive Party
A welcome return for one of the country's most exciting and vivacious saxophonists, vocalists and composers Kim Cypher, together with her band of top UK jazz musicians. This is sure to have Peggy's buzzing with a lively, celebratory selection of Latin, jazz, Reggae, African beats, funky grooves and festive favourites.
"You were magnificent at Ronnie Scott's Kim! You had the audience in the absolute palm of your hands" – Chris Warburton – BBC Radio 5
"A Latin jazz party that exudes love and happiness" – Bebop Spoken Here
Kim Cypher's Funky Latin Jazz Party is the sequel to her hugely successful 2025 'LIVE and Smiling' tour which included sell-out shows across the country including Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club. This brand-new tour has been going down an absolute storm since it launched at the prestigious Cheltenham Jazz Festival 2026, closing the main DEYA Arena to a hugely enthusiastic crowd, followed by a return sell-out show at Ronnie Scott's.
An uplifting, vibrant show full of positive energy, toe-tapping music, feelgood vibes and a whole lot of festive cheer!
Kim Cypher is a firm favourite on the UK jazz scene, renowned for her charismatic style and warm stage presence. With four highly acclaimed albums, award-winning music videos and performance in New York, Kim has firmly secured her reputation as a leading figure in contemporary jazz, described as a "rare musical treasure" by Jazz FM's David Freeman and a "force of nature" by jazz reviewer the Jazz Mann.
