This workshop is a creative session designing and personalising your own glass plaque or bowl. The plaque can be hung or placed in a stand to adore your window. Or your bowl will take centre stage on your table. Expert tutor Katherine will guide you through each process step by step, giving you the opportunity to get hands-on with your glass creation. You will spend time relaxing and embracing something new with creative people, all in the beautiful surroundings of Nottinghamshire's' finest vineyard. The image is just an example of what you can create, you will have a wide range of colours to choose from to design your own.
Where will the workshop take place?
Working in the Craft barn with 3 large windows with views out to the fields and vineyard.
What will I learn?
The workshop will introduce you to a variety of techniques and skills, learning to cut the glass and design your plaque or bowl.
Plaque size
Approximately 20 x 15cm
Size of dish
Depending on which shape you make your dish sizes will be approximately 20 x 15cm or 12cm in diameter, or make 2 smaller bowls.
In the session you will have time to make either 1 plaque, 1 bowl or 2 small dishes.
Who is this workshop for?
Beginners and people who have cut glass below but would like to make something new.

Materials, tools along with refreshments and a snack.
Plaque stand or no stand
Hooks to hang your plaque are included in the workshop price. For an additional £10 you can purchase a hand-carved Oak wooden stand at the time of booking. If you change your mind on the day you can still purchase a stand.
