Every weekend throughout December |10.30am – 3.30pm
Normal park admission charges apply.
Santa and Mrs Claus are arriving at the Tropical Butterfly House in North Anston, near Sheffield this December where families can enjoy a wonderful winter's day out. Journey through the wildlife park to see Santa at his woodland cabin grotto every weekend throughout December until Christmas Eve.
Families can follow a Woodland Festive Friends Trail to collect stamps and find which animals hold a magical Christmas star, in return for a sweet treat reward. Find one of many special 'Christmas Puddings' hidden around the park and win a merry prize and see if you can find the ten cheeky elves and see who tells the funniest joke.
Hop on board the festive tractor ride, which runs twice daily and marvel at the elf antics in the festive bird show.
There will be lots of opportunities around the park to spread some Christmas cheer, write a letter to Santa, add a wish to the Christmas Wishing Tree and join in a carol with the singing reindeer or capture a festive moment in a flurry of snow at the giant Polar Bear, so don't forget your Christmas jumpers!
Every child can see Santa as part of general admission to the park and receive a Christmas treat. An age-related wrapped gift can also be purchased in advance or on the day for £8.
Enjoy the roaring fire at Lottie's Coffee Lounge with a choice of festive favourites and themed children's picnic boxes for £6.95 are also available (park admission is not required, must be booked in advance).
For the perfect gift for animal lovers, why not visit the Jungle Gift Shop? You can inspire someone special with the gift of an annual membership or adopt a favourite resident animal! Gift vouchers are available and redeemable against park admission, membership, adoptions and experiences, gift shop and cafes.
Normal park admission charges apply. New Winter opening hours apply (closed Monday and Tuesday outside of the Christmas holiday). Please see on-site signage for activities and Santa's Grotto opening times.
