Nottingham's biggest and most popular free festival weekend!

The Riverside Festival is Nottingham's biggest free festival weekend offering three days of family entertainment. It is a unique and fun festival covering one mile along the banks of the River Trent, at Victoria Embankment, adjacent to Trent Bridge.

Three days of live music, great food and things to see, plus loads for kids in the Fab Kids' Zone.

The spectacular fireworks display on Saturday night is a must see!

There is a host of activities for festival goers to enjoy from a bustling street fair with rides and games to a vibrant mix of live music performances from around the globe.

Street Theatre performers will bring Nottingham's largest outdoor festival to life, with comedy and animation performances to enjoy and amaze.

Admission to the festival is free. Car parking charges apply.

  • 2115 – 2230    La Inedita - Top 30 Must See show from 2015 South by Southwest Festival.

Sunday 5 August

  • 1300 – 1400    Nottingham Jazz Orchestra - Nottingham’s premier big band.
  • 1445 – 1600    Mankala - Original high energy African fusion with a distinctive style and a positive message. Veterans of Glastonbury, Bestival, Green Man and many more festivals.
  • 1645 – 1800   Maroon Town - This nine piece explosion of ska, rap and brassy dub is tearing up audiences around the world.
