The Nottingham bad movie night 'Notts Bad Movie Club' is a place for people who love laughing at terrible films!

The films will be introduced by the Notts Bad Movie Club team. Will they be able to track down any cast and crew for an intro video?!

You can expect 'play along with the film' - games throughout the event, prizes for the best RUBBISH fancy dress, and

Enjoy mocking the worst of cinema with friends and one or two drinks. Whether you want to sit back in silence and enjoy the film, shout out your favourite lines, boo the bad guy, cheer a rubbish action scene or laugh in the face of horrendous acting - this event is for you!! A 'no obligation to get involved' screening!

Coyote Ugly | Saturday 23 March
A huge event of COYOTE UGLY fun with a special screening of COYOTE UGLY (plus a 90 minute bottomless brunch!!!) and then... its KARAOKE TIME! Expect  Coyote Ugly quiz questions throughout the event! Coyote Ugly themed music before the films start!

Coyote Ugly - IMDB 5.7/10:
Graced with a velvet voice, 21-year-old Violet Sanford heads to New York to pursue her dream of becoming a songwriter only to find her aspirations sidelined by the accolades and notoriety she receives at her "day" job as a barmaid at Coyote Ugly. The "Coyotes" as they are affectionately called tantalize customers and the media alike with their outrageous antics, making Coyote Ugly the watering hole for guys on the prowl.
"I wouldn't necessarily recommend Coyote Ugly to anyone, but I wouldn't use the DVD inserts as toilet paper either." - Rotten Tomatoes

Aranchnophobia & Birdemic | Saturday 11th May
A huge double bill of two of the best (worst - well, Arachnophobia is passable) spider and bird based films of ALL time! Expect spider & bird based movie quiz questions throughout the event and spider & bird themed music before the films start!

Arachnophobia - IMDB 6.5/10
Dr James Atherton moves to a small town and witnesses a series of unexplainable deaths of the locals. Upon investigating, he discovers that a flock of spiders are responsible for it.
"A thoroughly boring movie with boring villainous spiders and unlikeable characters. Devoid of any stand out moments or any sense of danger, its surprising Stephen Spielberg helped produce this dull film. What could have been a great B-movie callback is not utilized to its full potential." - Rotten Tomatoes

Birdemic - IMDB 1.7/10
A sexy lingerie model and a successful software salesman go on a weekend getaway to a quaint northern California town.
"Most people will be bored witless with this piece of bird dropping." - Rotten Tomatoes

The Princess Bride & Men in Tights | Saturday 18th May
A huge double bill of two of the best ridiculous fantasy films of ALL time! Expect The Princess Bride/Men In Tights based movie quiz questions throughout the event and The Princess Bride/Men In Tights themed music before the films start!

The Princess Bride - IMDB 8.0/10
Buttercup, a princess, is madly in love with a farm boy, Westley. Unfortunately, things take a turn in their lives when Westley goes out in search of employment and gets attacked by a pirate.
"The Princess Bride weaves several genres together and remains a classic film to this day." - Rotten Tomatoes

Robin Hood: Men In Tights - IMDB 6.7/10
After Prince John assumes control over England, he captures Robin Hood's family home. Chaos ensues when Robin does his best to retrieve his land.
"Robin Hood: Men In Tights, Brooks' spoof of the Robin Hood legend, gets off to a creaky start before it loosens up and produces laughs." - Rotten Tomatoes
