Robin Hood Marathon: Men In Tights

About

Saturday 16th March 2024 | 13:15
Broadway Cinema | Nottingham
Tickets: Pay What You Feel

Broadway’s first-ever Robin Hood Movie Marathon is set to coincide with Nottingham’s annual Half and Mini Marathon, celebrating the legendary local hero with a day of iconic cinematic adventures. From Errol Flynn’s swashbuckling portrayal to Kevin Costner as a Prince of Thieves, this marathon is packed with action and humor.

Join us at lunchtime as Robin Hood gets the Mel Brooks treatment in "Robin Hood: Men in Tights." Starring Cary Elwes—who, unlike some other Robin Hoods, can speak with an English accent—this parody takes a lighthearted spin on the legend. Crusading nobleman Robin of Loxley escapes from prison in Jerusalem and returns home to find that the evil Prince John has confiscated his family estate and is oppressing the citizenry. With the help of his Merry Men, Robin embarks on a quest to reclaim his home and win the heart of the beautiful Maid Marian.

Tickets for all films in the Robin Hood Marathon are Pay What You Feel, allowing attendees to enjoy as many screenings as they wish. Kids are welcome, and there will be family-friendly activities throughout the day.
