Experience the enchantment of Christmas at Rufford Abbey Country Park from 16th November to 22nd December. This festive season, the park transforms into a winter wonderland filled with holiday cheer for all ages.
Arrival of Santa Weekend – 16th & 17th November
Celebrate the season's start as Santa Claus makes his grand arrival. This special weekend of festivities launches a month-long holiday adventure, promising joy and excitement.
Elf Garden Christmas Trail – 7th December to 5th January
Embark on a whimsical journey through the Elf Garden Christmas Trail. Children can explore the formal gardens while seeking Santa's mischievous elves. Trail sheets are £1.50 per child and include a prize, available from 10 AM to 3 PM daily at the Courtyard Gift Shop.
Mini Christmas Market – Weekends from 16th November
Wander through the Mini Christmas Market, featuring a selection of unique gifts, handmade crafts, and seasonal treats. This charming market is perfect for finding thoughtful gifts or indulging in festive goodies from the Gift Shop.
Santa's Grotto – Select Dates in November & December
Bring holiday wishes to life with a visit to Santa's Grotto, where children can meet Santa and receive a special gift. Tickets are £9.95 per child, with advance booking recommended.
Festive Afternoon Tea in the Talbot Suite – 1st December
Enjoy a seasonal afternoon tea in the elegant Talbot Suite at Rufford Mill. This cosy, festive gathering offers a delicious assortment of holiday treats to share with loved ones.
Carols by Candlelight – 8th, 15th, & 22nd December
Experience the spirit of Christmas with a carol-filled afternoon in the Talbot Suite, accompanied by mulled wine and mince pies. Delight in the soothing sounds of the Carlton Male Voice Choir, adding warmth and charm to the holiday season.
Festive Eats
Warm up with holiday-inspired drinks and snacks across the park, from hot chocolates in the Coach House Courtyard to sweet treats at the Cafes and Gift Shop. Don't miss wood-fired pizzas at the Courtyard Pizza Van, a delightful addition to the festive atmosphere.
