Saturday 8th June | 2024 | Two Shows
Peggy's Skylight | Nottingham
Tickets: £12-£20
Following years of fronting big bands and smaller groups, Sam has more recently sold out top London venues Pizza Express Live, Dean St and Crazy Coq's Picadilly. Sam's vocal style is heavily rooted in the tradition of the American masters such as Nat King Cole and Sinatra and his live show carries a real authenticity, avoiding cliches at all costs.
The most recent collaboration with renowned UK saxophonist Fraser Smith and his band has seen Sam sing an iconic set of expertly transcribed arrangements from the seminal Sinatra in Paris, '62 concert. This was a carefully curated project born of a passion for the master singer's genius. More frequently, Sam can be heard in London's clubs drawing from the broader range of the American Songbook.
