Blending the cool sophistication of bossa nova, the infectious energy of samba jazz, and the groove of afro-funk, the group also reimagines soul and pop favourites through a distinctly Brazilian lens.
Their repertoire spans original compositions and authentic classics, offering rich textures and irresistible rhythms that engage both discerning listeners and dancers. With three accomplished composers in the lineup, Sambossa delivers a dynamic and refreshing take on Brazilian music, full of warmth, creativity, and rhythmic flair.
