Come and enjoy a creative session, and learn the art of traditional silversmithing. Guided expert tutor Zoe, you will get hands-on with the tools and materials and create a gorgeous bangle handcrafted by you. All in the relaxing setting of the craft barn with views overlooking the open countryside of Hanwell Wine Estate.
What you will make: In this workshop you will be able to choose from a selection of sterling silver wire to create a beautifully textured round bangle.
What you will learn:
Introduction to the tools and materials and how to handle them
Techniques including; measuring, hammering to add decorative texture, shaping and sawing
Soldering to create a strong and hidden join.
Adding the finishing touch of sanding and polishing
What is included: – Everything is included, all tools and materials, plus refreshments. Nothing to bring, just yourself.
