Taking you back to the golden age of jazz, The Easy Rollers are a roaring seven-piece jazz outfit performing hits from The Jazz Age (1920-1933) and The Swing Era (1933–1947). Originally established in Manchester, and all award-winning musicians, they have been offering audiences an authentic underground speakeasy experience since 2016.
The Easy Rollers released their debut EP in 2017, followed by a full-length album in May 2022. Highlights in 2023 included a return to The Edinburgh Festival Fringe and a UK tour of their cabaret show 'Drop Me Off in Harlem'.
This year they will be releasing their second studio album, which will be premiered on the 'Peek-a-boo' tour. There will be exclusive copies available for audience members, with the official public launch scheduled for next year.
They have built a reputation as one of the hardest working jazz bands in the north of England, with appearances at Manchester Jazz Festival, Cheltenham Jazz Festival, Lake District Summer Music, Buxton Festival, Manchester Day, Brecon Jazz Festival, Marsden Jazz Festival and The Edinburgh Festival Fringe. As well as music festivals, The Easy Rollers have had UK tours, sharing their enthusiasm for this music through gigs, Lindy Hop events and cabaret-style shows. Recent tour dates include the RNCM Concert Hall, Liverpool Philharmonic Music Room, Clonter Theatre, Peggy's Skylight, Toulouse Lautrec, Crazy Coqs & Cedars Hall.
