Expect a blend of hard hitting post bop and delicate contrapuntal melodies, infused with textural analog electronics.  "The Sorcerer" resonates deeper with every play." - MOJO

"Spellbinding piano from Tom Sochas… a very, very beautiful album." – Jamie Cullum

"The Sorcerer" is full of surprises, and intricate mood swings and unfolds gradually, with all its meditativeness, leaving no opportunity for the listener to get bored." – Jazzist Magazine
Building on the success of a solo EP released in early 2021, Franco-American jazz pianist Tom Sochas, previously known for his work with London staple Phoenician Blinds, returns to Peggy's Skylight with his debut trio album 'The Sorcerer', out on Khumbu Records. The album, released in April 2022 introduces Tom's new trio with Greek bassist Thodoris Ziarkas and Italian drummer Filippo Galli.
