Producer/Singer/Songwriter/Guitarist and indie label CEO Tomás Doncker has long been a prime mover and innovator on the New York music, arts & culture scene, establishing himself as a cross-genre innovator without peer. After spending the better part of 2025 as the support act for the legendary Fun Lovin' Criminals-Tomás Doncker & The True Groove All-Stars bring their 'Hard Is Hard' tour to Peggy's Skylight!
For over a decade, his expansive creative endeavours have found a home with his label/production hub, True Groove Records. Projects have included work with; Meshell Ndegeocello, P-Funk alumni Bootsy Collins, guitar hero Michael "Kidd Funkadelic" Hampton, hip hop pioneer/D.J. Keith Shocklee (Public Enemy/ Bomb Squad), iconic bassist/producer Bill Laswell, Trumpet/Bassist/Producer Jonathan Read (Rhythm Of Peace/The Specials), and, the legendary Ms. Patti Smith.
As well as features in The Telegraph, Wonderland Magazine, Fresh on the Net, Fame Magazine, Jammerzine, and Music News Monthly, Tomás has recently featured as cover star of Blues & Soul Magazine, Blues Matters! and CHRD Magazine.
