We took a trip to the preview of the Robin Hood Beer and Cider festival to explore the new Nottingham Motorpoint Arena venue. Live music, great food, pleasant outdoor spaces and of course, most importantly, an incredible selection of beers. Brand-new venue, same great festival!

Visit Nottinghamshire have launched a multi-faceted #RobinHoodMovie campaign surrounding the upcoming film, which will be released in cinemas on the 21^st November.

After Pugs and Dachshunds, it was about time for the French Bulldogs to show Nottingham’s Café Sobar how it’s done. Being the animal lovers that we are here at Visit Nottinghamshire, we wouldn’t let this event go by quietly. So off we popped to the pop-up Frenchie Café on a sunny Sunday morning, and let’s be honest, being surrounded by adorable Frenchies is always a good way to spend a day out the office!

Ahead of the Robin Hood Beer and Cider Festival opening on Wednesday (17 October), we grabbed five minutes with the festival organiser, Steve for some quick fire questions – he’s a busy man!

We all know life can get a bit hectic every now and then, and we don’t always take the time to wind down and treat ourselves. Luckily, MindAlive is there to keep us all in check and take us right back to the basics of breathing in and breathing out. And so, on the 5^th of September, the first Kitty Calm event was organised at the Kitty Café - for an hour of relaxation, meditation and mindfulness.
