We took a trip to the preview of the Robin Hood Beer and Cider festival to explore the new Nottingham Motorpoint Arena venue. Live music, great food, pleasant outdoor spaces and of course, most importantly, an incredible selection of beers. Brand-new venue, same great festival!

Visit Nottinghamshire have launched a multi-faceted #RobinHoodMovie campaign surrounding the upcoming film, which will be released in cinemas on the 21^st November.

After Pugs and Dachshunds, it was about time for the French Bulldogs to show Nottingham’s Café Sobar how it’s done. Being the animal lovers that we are here at Visit Nottinghamshire, we wouldn’t let this event go by quietly. So off we popped to the pop-up Frenchie Café on a sunny Sunday morning, and let’s be honest, being surrounded by adorable Frenchies is always a good way to spend a day out the office!

Ahead of the Robin Hood Beer and Cider Festival opening on Wednesday (17 October), we grabbed five minutes with the festival organiser, Steve for some quick fire questions – he’s a busy man!

December is nearing, which can only mean one thing – Elf: A Christmas Spectacular is coming our way! From Friday 28 December until Sunday 30 December you can see the hit West End and Broadway musical, in all its glory at Motorpoint Arena Nottingham. We got the chance to speak to the stars of the show and give them a special ‘Nottingham’ present – a rubber ducky.

This August my family and I were lucky enough to be invited for a day down on the farm by Manor Farm Park & Woodlands.

We arrived just as the farm park opened and were greeted by Sue and the team. We were given a map of the park, which was much bigger than I expected, 25 acres in fact, and a schedule of activities for the kids to enjoy throughout the day. Eager children, including my own toddler, Ella, were super excited and raring to get in, especially as they could all see the playground which was looming temptingly in sight.
