This week we are sharing Alex Green's favourite places in Nottinghamshire. Alex emailed us her picks. If you would like to share you 'favourites' with us, email us at social@experiencenottinghamshire.com or use the comment section below. You may feature on our blog and our various social media platforms.   "A great night out for me includes a performance at Nottingham Playhouse, where some of the most innovative theatre is created before moving on to grace the West End stage. It's worth a visit just to take in the 1960s architecture and Sky Mirror, a public art installation reflecting an inverted skyline by Anish Kapoor. I love its courtyard setting on a summer's evening, where you can sit outside and watch the world go by." This season Nottingham Playhouse bring you the excellent Forever Young (for what could be the last time), Romeo & Juliet (a co-production with Headlong and The Nuffield, Southampton, in association with Hull Truck Theatre)  and Mary Shelley (a co-production  with Shared Experience and West Yorkshire Playhouse). Nottingham Playhouse also has a rich programme of stand-up comedy and contemporary dance. Visit www.nottinghamplayhouse.co.uk for more information. If you too are fascinated by Anish Kapoor's Sky Mirror, why not head to Nottingham Castle and visit Anish Kapoor's Flashback exhibition which is open until 11 March.
