Cineworld, the UK’s leading cinema chain, is delighted to announce that it will be opening an IMAX® at Cineworld Nottingham on 14th December 2012.
The new IMAX at The Cornerhouse site will offer Nottingham film fans a uniquely immersive cinematic experience, allowing them to enjoy the biggest blockbusters, including the latest blockbuster from the Lord of the Rings Director Peter Jackson; The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey (UK release date December 14th), like never before. The IMAX Experience® combines patented crystal-clear digital projection, powerful digital sound, a larger, slightly curved and specially treated IMAX screen and customised auditorium geometry designed to maximize audiences’ field-of-view.
