This week we share Paul Jones's favourite places in Nottinghamshire. If you would like to share your ‘favourites’ with us, email us at social@experiencenottinghamshire.com or use the comment section below. You may feature on our blog and our various social media platforms. Local resident Paul Jones recently won our photography competition with his wonderful picture of Lime Tree Avenue in Clumber Park (left). We asked him to share his favourite places to inspire us to take our camera with us next time we're out and about. All the photos included on this post were taken by Paul. You can see more of Paul's photographs at   http://www.flickr.com/groups/1390056@N22/ and www.pauljones-photography.com "Hodsock Priory - Located in Blyth is a fantastic place to visit, famous for its snowdrop displays of course, but also has many great activities during the year. The Snowdrop Village has been done up for 2013 so I am looking forward to seeing that this year.  The Estate is run by Mr and Mrs George Buchanan who make you feel very welcome. It is a very enjoyable day out. Sherwood Forest - No introduction required, the famous Sherwood Forest is a beautiful place to visit no matter what time of year it is.  It has a huge array of plants, insects and wildlife for you to try and spot, all located in the beautiful forest surrounded by oak trees and ferns. It's also very family-orientated so there is plenty to keep the children happy while you take in the surroundings. Clumber Park - My favourite place in Nottinghamshire and possibly the whole country; I love it. Beautiful landscapes and scenery, wildlife and nature to visit and take in.  Plenty to do for the whole family - be it cycling, walking or any of the special events the National Trust arrange for you. It's just great no matter the season. Wollaton Hall & Park - Beautiful architecture, vast grounds with plenty of activities and of course, the deer park; a great place to visit for the whole family. I always enjoy visiting, in particular during rutting season when the stags fight it out to be "the one" . Some great photos to be had at that time of year, and always an enjoyable day out."
