Why not mix work with pleasure? That’s what my colleague and I thought when we were to attend Beeston for a work meeting. Rye was a great choice!
Situated on the High Street in the heart of Beeston, Rye serve fabulous coffee and simple fresh food which is inspired by the European café culture. The café in the day is a lively coffee house and by night it transforms into a suave bistro.
The visual style of the café was really stylish, both the interior and exterior portrayed class. It didn't feel like your ordinary coffee or wine bar as the professional, attentive table service felt like a top end London café along with unique refreshments and desirable food options on offer.
For a tasty treat for our taste buds, my colleague, guest and I tentatively tried not to devour our refreshment choices, a Strawberry Frappe and Strawberry Banana smoothie, which were extremely satisfying. The prices were reasonably priced for the portion size that we received. 10 out of 10 for deliciousness!
During the business meeting, I couldn't help my eyes being transfixed towards the bar counter which was stacked of what can be described as scrumptious cakes and all things divine! It was hard to avoid purchasing a tasty piece of rich homemade chocolate brownie to accompany my afternoon drink, and it really put my cheese sandwich which was waiting for me back at the office to shame.
