Two of Nottinghamshire’s Bed and Breakfast establishments are celebrating receiving VisitEngland’s 5 Star Gold Awards for ten consecutive years as they fly the flag for Quality in Tourism for the county.

The two accommodation providers are Browns Bed and Breakfast of Holbeck, Nottinghamshire and Greenwood Lodge City Guest House in Sherwood Rise, Nottingham.

Owners of the Award-winning Bed & Breakfast providers, Robin and Joan Brown from Browns and Doug and Sue Pearse from Greenwood Lodge City Guest House, received their certificates from Jennifer Spencer, Chief Executive, Experience Nottinghamshire, the destination marketing organisation responsible for driving leisure and business visitors to the county, at a photoshoot which took place at Rufford Abbey Country Park, Ollerton, Nottinghamshire, NG22 9DF.

Jennifer Spencer said: “It is a tremendous achievement for a Bed and Breakfast provider to receive the VisitEngland 5 Star Gold Award for ten consecutive years.  The Award recognises and applauds establishments that provide customers with an exceptional, first-class quality service.  To have two establishments in the county achieve this accolade for ten consecutive years is simply remarkable.”
