Nottingham is getting ready to welcome the top cyclists in the world on Friday 11 September.

120 riders from 20 of the world’s top teams will race into Nottingham, including world famous cyclists Sir Bradley Wiggins, Mark Cavendish, and Kristian House. The riders will arrive between 2:50pm and 3:50pm on 11 September, providing locals and visitors with a thrilling city finish to Stage 6 of the race.

Riders will set off from Stoke-On-Trent and make their way across the hills of Derbyshire before their 192.8km journey ends at The Forest Recreation Ground. Visitors to The Forest can enjoy free activities including live music as they await the finish. Homemade Café on the newly redeveloped pavilion will also be open, serving food and drink,with space to watch the finish from the Terrace.

Coverage of the Aviva Tour of Britain will be seen in more than 200 million homes around the world, raising the profile of Nottingham as a global destination for visitors And investment. 

Tour de France victors Team Sky will compete in the Aviva Tour of Britain, leading a line-up that includes ten teams that raced in the Tour de France, plus Team WIGGINS and Team Raleigh GAC.*

Biocity has partnered with Nottingham City Council to become the headline sponsor of Stage 6 of the Tour.
