Italian Wine Café brings a little bit of Italy to Nottingham

Nottingham's newest food and drink offering, Veeno, officially opened on Thursday 8th October with over 300 guests joining them to sample the selection of wines and spuntini on offer. The Nottingham venue which is now open to the public offers guests authentic Italian wine and food in a relaxed environment commonly known as Aperitivo in Italy; the ritual of drinking, nibbling and relaxing after work, a daily occasion where moments of happiness are shared with friends and family. Veeno’s owners Nino Caruso and Andrea Zecchino led the official opening night and said “We are really excited to be opening our fifth site in Nottingham less than 2 years since opening the first back in Manchester.” “The people of Nottingham have welcomed us with open arms and have immediately understood the concept of Aperitivo, which is something that Nottingham has been missing until now.” Located on Middle Pavement, Veeno offers a selection of Italian wines and prosecco of which all 24 are produced on Nino’s family’s vineyard in Sicily, Italy.
