Nottingham Tourism Centre is just the ticket!

Nottingham Tourism Centre is now the top place to buy tickets for major concerts and events in the city centre, thanks to new partnerships with the Capital FM Arena and Rock City. The partnerships mean Nottingham Tourism Centre is now a convenient ticketing hub for residents and visitors to the city – whether looking for tickets to a show while visiting Nottingham, or booking tickets for one of the best upcoming events in the year ahead. There are plenty of fantastic events on offer – so why not give the gift of a memorable experience at a top night out at the Capital FM Arena? From global basketball superstars the Harlem Globe Trotters, to music acts such as Busted, Duran Duran, The Libertines and Ellie Goulding, and family days out such as Disney on Ice, there is a wide range of shows available and visitors to the centre can now buy tickets direct from the dedicated Capital FM Arena desk onsite. In addition to selling tickets for all upcoming major concerts and events at the arena, the Tourism Centre offers tickets and bookings for ice skating sessions at the National Ice Centre. Following the closure of Rock City’s physical box office, the Tourism Centre is now also a box office for many of the upcoming concerts and events at Rock City, The Bodega Social Club and Rescue Rooms. Tickets are available for upcoming concerts including The Enemy, The Darkness, The Charlatans and Fun Lovin’ Criminals. Nottingham Tourism Centre manager, Simon Redgate, said the ambition was to provide the kind of ticketing box office offered in other major city centres: “From Leicester Square to Times Square, major squares in cities are the go to place for visitors looking to book tickets to shows and concerts. Now, here in Old Market Square, we can offer top tickets to locals and visitors to Nottingham.” The New Capital FM Arena partnership has also resulted in a striking bank of LCD screens totalling 92 inches in the main window of the Tourism Centre, advertising upcoming shows and events, as well as showcasing the fantastic ice skating offer, especially popular thanks to the new Ice Stars CBBC TV programme.
