Nottingham’s number one entertainment and leisure complex is joining forces with the city’s biggest radio station in a new partnership deal. The Cornerhouse will be working with Capital in 2016 to offer its customers a packed calendar of events throughout the year starting with Valentine’s Day. The deal will also see The Cornerhouse offering even more great prizes on its social media channels and on air with the team at Capital. Suzanne Green, centre manager at The Cornerhouse said: ”We have always had a great working relationship with the guys at Capital and this partnership now makes it official. “We hope it will give our customers even more chance to win great prizes and attend some fantastic events. They can also hear all the great music from Capital in The Drum and they won’t be able to miss the new branding on our building.” Richard Ardis, Capital FM managing director said: “This is a very exciting partnership for Capital. The Cornerhouse is the entertainment destination for thousands every week across the East Midlands and it’s where our listeners meet and socialise. I’m delighted that this partnership brings Capital even closer to our listeners and it’s so exciting to work with such a dynamic business, right in the heart of Nottingham.” Suzanne added: “We have already worked on lots of successful events with the team at Capital, from film premieres to fresher’s fairs and we look forward to even more fun in the coming months.” Customers at The Cornerhouse will also see more of Capital’s Street Stars and hear all about what’s going on at the venue on the radio. The Cornerhouse offers a choice of 14 bars and restaurants, alongside Cineworld which houses the only IMAX screen in the East Midlands, a casino, adventure golf, a hairdressers, a nightclub and a comedy club.
