Mayhem launches new website, call for short films and Early Bird passes

Preparations are underway for Mayhem Film Festival, and whilst submissions have just opened for the popular Scary Shorts programme, Early Bird passes are now available to purchase for the festival’s 12^th edition. Early Bird passes allow access to the full festival, which will take place at Broadway, Nottingham on 13-16 October 2016. The passes are available for a limited period of time and cost just £60 for four days of exciting previews, special guests and events, showcasing the best horror, sci-fi and cult features and shorts from around the world. Mayhem originally started as a single compilation of short films, and the Scary Shorts remains the most loved and one of the most popular screenings in the festival’s schedule. There is no fee for submissions, and programmers for the festival are accepting local, national and international entries. Filmmakers can submit their entry for free until midnight on Friday 19 August.
