Shoppers will once again be able to celebrate everything stylish in Nottingham city centre with the return of the annual It’s in Nottingham fashion show. The latest trends and collections from a range of Nottingham retailers will be showcased during a weekend of catwalk shows – this time taking place in The Council House, overlooking the Old Market Square. The Nottingham in Fashion event, organised by the Nottingham Business Improvement District (BID) will take place on Friday 24 and Saturday 25 March – with three different themed catwalk shows available to book for free. Nottingham is famous for its unique mix of stores and boutiques – from the well-known brands and department stores, to the city’s one-off independents. The three collections have been designed to appeal to all of Nottingham’s savvy shoppers. For the many students, the From Campus to Club show will showcase the key looks ideal for a student lifestyle and budget. It will highlight the best of casual styles perfect for walking around campus, as well as glamorous looks for nights out in the city. The second show, From Desk to Dinner, will display versatile outfits that can be dressed up or down – mixing workwear with statement accessories. Lastly, Style Classics is for the high end fashion lovers with a focus on investment pieces. The show will incorporate the latest spring trends with classic looks. The Nottingham in Fashion event will also take over the Old Market Square, with a large screen and a parked-up dedicated Fashion Bus. Guests can simply pop along to the It’s in Nottingham Fashion Bus after watching a show to find out where each outfit can be bought straight away in Nottingham, as well as treat themselves to a flash treatment from one of our many partnered beauty brands. Nicola Tidy, one of the directors of the Nottingham BID, said: “This event celebrates the unique selection of stores, boutiques and fashion that the city has to offer. Shoppers of all ages and styles can visit the city centre to buy products perfect for them.” “This year’s event will be held in the heart of the city, at the iconic Council House, making it an even bigger celebration in Nottingham. We are sure it is going to be hugely popular and guests will enjoy watching a free catwalk show.” Guests are being urged to head online to www.itsinnottingham.com/fashion to secure their free seat and get involved in the most fashionable event of the city’s calendar. Show timings: From Campus to Club: Friday 24 March at 1pm and 4.30pm, Saturday 25 March at 12 noon and 3.30pm. From Desk to Dinner: Friday 24 March at 2pm and 5.30pm, Saturday 25 March at 1pm and 4.30pm. Style Classics: Friday 24 March at 3.30pm, Saturday 25 March at 2pm and 5.30pm.
