Spring's definitely arrived in Nottinghamshire this week, meaning Instagram has been glowing with sunny snaps and blooming blossom. Here are our five favourite photographs from the past week: https://youtu.be/lJ3ykvgomGo

1.

The blossom bursting to life is always a sure sign that the warmer spring weather has hit Nottinghamshire - we love the colours in this snap.

2.

Lord Byron's legacy lives on in Nottinghamshire - and we're looking forward to the Nottingham Poetry Festival, which will feature Carol Ann Duffy, Wendy Cope OBE, Simon Armitage, John Cooper Clarke among many more.

3.

Is it any wonder that Nottingham is England's Home of Sport. This fantastic snap gives a clue as to why. We're also delighted that Nottingham's National Watersports Centre has just been chosen as the venue for the ICF World Freestyle Canoeing Championships in 2021.
