The Original Nottingham Ghost Walk
Saturday 13th August | Starts at Ye Olde Trip to Jerusalem | 7pm | Tickets: £9
The Original Nottingham Ghost Walk is a storytelling tour around the Castle Quarter of Nottingham. It is easy walking, about 1/2 mile long and takes approximately 90 minutes to 2 hours. The walk starts from Ye Olde Trip to Jerusalem, which is the perfect place for a pre-walk drink or meal.
You will then gather together to hear about the Cursed Galleon of Ye Olde Trip and Nottingham's only pirate. The walk then sets off up Castle Road, skirting the bottom of Nottingham Castle's ramparts and walls. You may also hear the disturbing tale of the Human Pin Cushion, the Baby in the Wall and the antics of Marshal Tallard!

Saturday 13th August | National Justice Museum | 10am or 1.30pm | Tickets: Adult £9.95, Child £10.95
Journey back to Victorian Nottingham and solve the case of the escaped prisoner!
Suitable for all ages and specifically aimed at children 5 to 10 years old, this family-friendly activity takes place in the Victorian streets of the Narrow Marsh museum experience. You will become one of the different families living in the slum and help the detective search for an escaped convict before he commits another crime. Search the different areas of Narrow Marsh, seeking out clues and solving puzzles.
Once you've finished gathering your evidence, you will be escorted to the Grand Courtroom to go through your findings and solve the case! Tickets are £9.95 per person attending and includes this 1 hour 30-minute event and prize money (in the form of chocolate coins!).

Gloworm Festival at Thoresby Park

The Gloworm Festival is a brilliant 2 day family friendly festival that brings music, art and entertainment to the heart of Sherwood Forest. Created for grown-ups and their little people alike, there's lots to see and do including meeting some of your favourite character!

Mini Reel Outdoor Cinema Encanto

Liberty Leisure are proud to be bringing the popular Disney production Encanto to Trowell this summer.
Walt Disney Animation Studios' "Encanto" tells the tale of an extraordinary family, the Madrigals, who live hidden in the mountains of Colombia, in a magical house, in a vibrant town, in a wondrous, charmed place called an Encanto.
The Showing will be on Pit Lane Recreation in Trowell with the screening starting at 2.30pm. Feel free to bring your own blankets and chairs to keep you comfortable during the film. Cinema food, snacks and drinks will be on sale on the day.
