'Can't we think without being punished?'

In 2050, neuroscientist Dame Julia Anderton is about to launch the next phase of her pioneering Pre-Crime programme, detaining people for crimes before they are committed. But when Julia is accused of pre-murder, she's in a race against time to save herself from her own system.

This thrilling adaptation of Philip K. Dick's iconic story challenges our beliefs about justice and free will in a real-time chase through the London of the future.

Minority Report sees award-winning director Max Webster re-united with the producers of the globally successful stage version of Life of Pi ('It will make you believe in theatre. A triumph' The Sunday Times). This incredible theatrical experience creates a world at the borders of science fiction and reality.

Dance Consortium presents São Paulo Dance Company

5. Dance Consortium presents São Paulo Dance Company

Friday 16th February – Saturday 17th February | Royal Concert Hall | Tickets £17.50 - £34.00

Brazil's finest dance company make their highly anticipated UK and Irish debut in spring 2024.

Fusing the elegance of classical ballet with the sensuality of Latin American dance, this 'sleek, sexy and highly technical' (The New Yorker) company of virtuoso dancers present a rich programme of work from three choreographers rooted in Latin American or Spanish culture.

Goyo Montero (resident choreographer with Carlos Acosta's company Acosta Danza) explores the idea of collective identities in Anthem, an epic and emotionally charged ensemble piece for 14 dancers, beautifully staged with dramatic lighting. Gnawa, by Spanish choreographer Nacho Duato draws on the Mediterranean colours and flavours of Valencia, powered by the hypnotic, ritualistic music of North Africa.

Brazilian choreographer Cassi Abranches' colourful and flirtatious Agora provides an exhilarating finale. Exploring time and rhythm, she sculpts the movement of each dancer's body with the percussive beats and bass grooves of Afro-Brazilian fusion.
