1. Cocktails and Crimes: Don’t Look Back in Anger

Saturday 14 February 2026 | 7pm | National Justice Museum | Tickets: £28 including arrival cocktail/mocktail

Grab your loved ones, your magnifying glass and your detective hat because this Valentine's Day, The National Justice Museum needs a crime to be cracked! It's the 90’s and they're getting ready for the launch party of the latest and hottest magazine, You Got Judged! featuring It-Girl Vienna Smythe-Revell. What better place to hold the party than the Shire Hall, with its former courtrooms to play on the new magazine's name. But the party begins with a shocking discovery... a body has been found. Do you have the wits to take this 1990s whodunnit from glossy cover to guilty?

2. Jim Moray

Friday 13 February 2026 | 7pm | Metronome | General admission: £19.80

Spend you Friday night listening to traditional English folk music with an innovative approach by musician, singer and producer Jim Moray. First gaining notice in the early 2000s for his startling reimagining of traditional songs, blending acoustic instrumentation with electronic production, he has established himself as one of the key figures in the English Folk Revival of the last 25 years. Never satisfied with staying still, the artist is still moving after shaking the folk world to its foundations twenty years ago. And in a genre where musicians reach their peak the older they get, there's a sense that he has only just begun.

valentines sing along

3. The Great Nottingham Valentine’s Singalong!

Sunday 15 February 2026 | 7.30pm | Malt Cross | FREE

Now is your chance to burst into song and sing your heart out at Malt Cross’ Great Nottingham Valentine’s Singalong. Whether you’re a bit ropey or have the voice of an angel, it doesn’t matter as you’ll be led in song by someone who knows what they’re talking about. Abi Moore will (im)politely guide, cajole and, if necessary, heave your voice out of you. Whether you’re a high, middle or low singer – or even if you have no idea - your voice is needed and welcomed. Music, drinks, laughter and random people coming together to create something amazing. You don’t need anything except your voice, your ears, and well… maybe a few drinks!
