The popular Ay-Up Market returns to Old Market Square this weekend. This year, there are over 90 independent stallholders taking part, and visitors can look forward to various products such as freshly baked goods, sweet treats, fine wine and liquors, vintage clothing, plants, skincare, homeware, arts and crafts, handmade jewellery, and pet accessories.

Alongside the stalls, the event will feature an exciting programme of live music on stage, with a line-up of Notts-based artists and performers. Other family-friendly activities will be available including creative workshops curated by The Bead Shop, a traditional hook-a-duck stall, face painting, and family crafts.


Museum Late DH Lawrence Museum

If you’ve always wanted to learn more about one of Nottinghamshire’s most famous author’s, this is your chance! Discover the home D.H. Lawrence grew up in, as the D.H. Lawrence Birthplace Museum opens its doors after hours. Experience the atmospheric gaslit rooms as dusk falls with a complementary glass of wine or a cuppa, all for FREE this Friday between 4pm and 7pm – no need to book.

At 6pm there will be an exclusive audience with Dr Andrew Harrison, Director of the University of Nottingham's D.H. Lawrence Research Centre. Dr Harrison will be presenting two recent archival discoveries related to Lawrence's early life.

The Easter festivities are kicking off at Manor Farm Park & Woodlands this weekend!
