Heritage Open Days is back! Taking place from Friday 11 - Sunday 20 September, this annual event is your chance to discover some of Nottinghamshire’s hidden gems – and it's all for FREE! Celebrating history, heritage and community, attractions across the county will be running a series of special events and experiences, allowing you the chance to explore like never before!

2. Notts County vs Bradford City

Saturday 12 September 2026 | Kick off 12.30pm | Meadow Lane Stadium | Tickets on sale now

League One action returns to Meadow Lane as Notts County welcome Bradford City.

If you're looking for some pre match atmosphere then head to The Nest with its huge bar area, the biggest screen in the city and top street food traders. Access to The Nest is from Iremonger Road and entry is free of charge.

3. Zoe Rahman Trio – Hull Suite Live Tour

Zoe Rahman presents music from her new album "Hull Suite Live" with her world-class jazz trio, featuring drummer Gene Calderazzo (Pharoah Sanders, Randy Brecker) and bassist Alec Dankworth (Abdullah Ibrahim, Dave Brubeck). The album centres around music from Zoe's "Hull Suite", which was commissioned by Hull Jazz Festival for World Piano Day 2024. Based on themes of voyage, migration and the sea and taking inspiration from two statues in Hull, the music is also deeply connected to Zoe's own family history.

4. Courtyard Makers Market

Nottingham Mela will showcase Bollywood artists and performers, stalls, music and workshops. Hosted by Gemini Sounds and Indi Singh, the performers include headline artist Navin Kundra, Kay Kay & Co Fusion Band, Kaafi Mahmoud & Arijit Sen, students from the Nottingham Asian Arts Council Music & Dance Academy, and more.
