New Hall Farm is located near the Robin Hood Way and is ideal for walking or cycling. It is close to local attractions such as Southwell Minster and Sherwood Forest Country Park.
Over looking Norwood Park golf course, the site has spectacular views towards Lincoln Cathedral and Belvoir Castle.
Fresh farm produce is available locally. All livestock are fenced well away from the site.
The Brown family has been farming in Edingley and Halam for over 200 years. David and Jill Brown now manage New Hall Farm, once part of a nearby estate, and Edingley Grange Farm in a traditional way.
The 18th Century Stone Threshing Barn is still used to store winter cattle feed.
Our beef suckler herd graze on ancient "rig and furrow" parkland pasture, which has not been ploughed since the days of the horse plough. Newborn calves epitomize the peace and tranquility that awaits you.
As a result of many years of careful conservation management we have an abundance of wildlife on the farm, which is now in the Countryside Stewardship Scheme.
Situated on the New Hall Ridge some 100 metres above sea level New Hall Farm is in the heart of the countryside, and the secluded site is set amongst mature oak, ash and beech trees. Visitors frequently comment on the *spectacular views.
This new farm diversification, partly funded by D.E.F.R.A. under the Rural Enterprise Scheme, will give us an opportunity to share this with you.
*Lincoln Cathedral and Belvoir Castle a speciality!
