Glamping Bothy Pods and the Geodome provide a perfect retreat for you to base yourselves in the heart of Sherwood Forest whilst walking, hiking, cycling, or to just sit, relax, and enjoy the views from your very own veranda. Dedictated dog friendly pods are also available. See images of the pods in the gallery above.
Sherwood Pines campsite is set across 20 acres of stunning woodland where you can truly embrace the peace and tranquillity of the forest.
With the site being open all year round you can experience the wonderful sights and sounds through every season. On site we boast outstanding facilities, including free Wi-Fi, family shower & baby changing rooms, accessible shower rooms, toilets, showers, laundry, dishwashing, a backpacker airing and locker room, even a handy bike servicing area. There is also a purpose-built dog wash! so your four-legged friend can be pampered after their day of adventures with you.

Our new Bothy Pods sleep 3 and come equipped with 2 ‘real’ single beds that can be pushed together to make a comfortable double, a fire log burner, fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster and much more. Just pack your own bedding, a bag and bring yourselves along. It’s time to check in, switch off and escape the everyday at Sherwood Pines campsite.
Our BRAND NEW family Bothy pods sleep 5, and have a separate bedroom furnished with a double bed and a bunk bed (with mattresses).
The open plan living space also has a convertible seating/dining area that creates another comfortable single. with scatter cushions. and an extendable dining table with two fold away chairs.
It's fully equipped with fireside armchairs with snuggle throws, a fire log burner, fridge, 2 ring induction hob, microwave, kettle & toaster. Pots, pans, mixing bowl, jug & a colander. Plates, side plates, bowls, mugs, glasses, cutlery and a variety of cooking utensils, washing up bowl & dustpan & brush, along with an emergency night torch.
There is also a beautiful large family sized solid wood dinning table with parasol out on your private veranda.
