Motorpoint Arena Nottingham has hosted world-renowned musical stars such as Sir Elton John, Oasis, and Duran Duran as well as comedic legends Lee Evans and John Bishop. With a seated capacity of 9,300 and a standing capacity of 10,000, there is nowhere quite like the Arena. You may also know it as the home of local Ice Hockey Team, The Nottingham Panthers, as the arena uses an ice floor!
Peggy's Skylight, Nottingham's independednt jazz club, is also in Hockley. This is the perfect place to catch a show and you can even enjoy a delicious dinner or some drinks while you're there.
If you're looking for more music venues, the brand new Metronome sees a diverse line-up of moving image, live performance and spoken word from across the country and beyond. Victorian music hall The Malt Cross is a gorgeous venue hosting regular gigs, events and workshops, including open mics every month. The Level adds to this cultural landscape with a flexible space supporting emerging talent and live creative experiences.
