Atlas Swing

Filippo Dall'Asta is an Italian-born guitarist, composer, bandleader and arranger, mixing the sounds of Gypsy jazz with bebop and classical music, to forge his own style of progressive guitar playing. Together with Francesca Confortini, Neter Calafati and Oscar Tinoco, Atlas Swing bring the best of Gypsy Jazz and more.

"An irresistable and unforgettable charm" – Jazz Journal UK.

"Gypsy jazz at its finest!" – Musik an Sich

Atlas Swing is a dynamic Gypsy Jazz-inspired quartet led by Italian guitarist and composer Filippo Dall'Asta and vocalist Francesca Confortini. Drawing on a shared passion for Django Reinhardt's legacy, their music blends the soulful spirit of Gypsy Jazz with swing, world music, and modern acoustic textures. With Filippo's virtuosic guitar work and Francesca's velvety voice and magnetic stage presence, the group delivers emotionally rich, rhythmically vibrant performances that captivate audiences across genres and generations.

Having performed together for over a decade, Filippo and Francesca bring an unmistakable chemistry to the stage. Their repertoire includes fresh arrangements of swing and jazz standards, Gypsy Jazz classics, and original compositions that celebrate both the tradition and the evolution of acoustic jazz.

Line up:

Francesca Confortini – vocals

Filippo Dall'Asta – guitar

Neter Calafati – guitar
Oscar Tinoco – upright bass
