Once upon a time...
Storytellers with the air of the Pied Piper will roam the halls enchanting visitors young and old as scenes from a selection of favourite tales leap off the pages, from classics like Snow White and Cinderella to contemporary stories like James and the Giant Peach and Charlotte's Web.
Don't forget to pick up a fun family trail at the entrance to see what mischief friendly baby dragon is up to on the route.
Select rooms on the upper floor of the house will be closed for annual conservation during the Christmas season.
Ticket information:
Christmas tickets include admission to the house, garden, farmyard and playground and are available via the link above. All tickets booked online include free parking.
Tickets are also available to purchase on the day at Chatsworth, and are sold on a first come, first served basis. It is recommended that where available, tickets are booked online in advance to avoid disappointment.
Child entry for the Christmas ticket is age 4–16 inclusive, and children aged 3 and under are free of charge.
Chatsworth operate timed ticketing to manage the flow of people in the house.
Friends of Chatsworth do not need to book a timed ticket slot.
Chatsworth is closed on 24, 25, 26 December 2018 and 1 January 2019.
Twilight evenings:
As night falls, experience enchanted Christmas Twilight evenings on Thursdays and Fridays from 22 November to 21 December. Enjoy a mince pie, wine and live music while favourite childhood stories come alive around you. View details of Christmas twilight evenings.
