Creswell Crags
10.30am, 11.30am, 1.30pm and 2.30pm
£5 per child (all children must be accompanied by an adult).
What do archaeologists look for when they start digging? Have a go at your own mini excavation and discover what bones, rocks and objects might have been found at the end of the Ice Age. Led by the expert team, they will introduce you to the different layers of history that you uncover and teach you how to recognise what you've found, including identifying the ages of objects, and the difference between archaeology and palaeontology.
