Back in October, we ran a very exciting competition to win a Christmas break for two here in Nottingham with the winner scooping tickets to see Aladdin at the Theatre Royal, an evening meal and stay at Harts Hotel and a £50 gift voucher to spend at intu Victoria Centre or intu Broadmarsh. Today we're very lucky to be able to hear from the winner of this magical prize - Moyna Sinclair. Let's see how she got on. My husband and I have just spent the most enjoyable weekend in Nottingham.  I was fortunate enough to be the lucky winner of the above competition which allowed us to spend the night at the Harts Hotel, have dinner and then enjoy a production of Aladdin at the Theatre Royal. The hotel was lovely, room very comfortable and the staff were particularly helpful. The show was brilliant and certainly the highlight of the evening.  Nottingham is a vibrant city with plenty going on, unfortunately we were not there long enough to experience as much as we would have liked.  The customer service we received was second to none which enabled us to enjoy the trip even more as we had it all sorted before we left. We had a long journey so this was essential for the enjoyment of our short stay. We were able to meet up with our granddaughter who attends Nottingham Trent University so this was the icing on the cake. She was able to join us along with her boyfriend in the evening to eat at Harts and then come to the Theatre. All this was arranged beforehand by the guys at Experience Nottinghamshire. I have to also mention the wonderful intu Victoria Shopping Centre in which we would have browsed a lot longer had time permitted. There was a great selection of shops and places to eat and drink. More time here would have been welcome - and money of course! Many many thanks to Experience Nottinghamshire for making it as painless and enjoyable as it could be in the time we spent there, I would recommend this trip to anyone, it is perfect for a short break although you may need longer to experience all there is to see in this very forward thinking city. Keep up the excellent work!
