1. Nottingham Pride

Saturday 26 July 2025 | 12pm-6pm | Various Places around Nottingham City Centre | FREE event

Notts Pride is back and ready to light up the city with a vibrant celebration of Nottinghamshire’s LGBTQ+ community – championing queer joy, visibility, and solidarity.

The day kicks off with a colourful visibility march through the city centre, with over 7,000 LGBTQ+ folks and allies expected to take part. The march sets off from Listergate at 12pm (gather from 11am) and winds its way to the heart of the action at Sneinton Market.

Once there, the Main Stage in Sneinton Market Square will come alive with incredible performances from LGBTQ+ artists, including Rileasa Slaves, GIRLBAND!, Jason Kwan, Rob Green, Tom Aspaul, and Su, I Think. Sneinton Market Avenues will also be filled with inspiring educational stalls – so you can celebrate, connect, and learn all in one fabulous day.

2. Notts County v Cardiff City (Pre-Season Friendly)

Notts County are kicking off their League Two campaign in style as they welcome Cardiff City to Meadow Lane for a thrilling pre-season clash.

It’s the perfect way to dive back into the football spirit – packed with energy, excitement, and a whole lot of matchday buzz.

Looking to keep the vibes going before or after the game? Swing by The Nest! With the biggest screen in the city, a massive bar area, and mouthwatering street food from top local traders, it’s the ultimate spot to soak up the atmosphere. 3. Robin Hood Festival 2025 - Films In The Forest

This year, the Robin Hood Festival is stretching the fun across a whole month of weekends, packed with celebrations of all things Nottingham, local history, the legendary Robin Hood, and the iconic forest he called home.

Kicking things off in style, the Festival opens with a weekend of open-air cinema magic. Films in the Forest has become a much-loved part of the festival line-up, and this time around, six fantastic films will light up the big screen – including not one, but two Robin Hood classics!

This summer’s selection is:

4. MICHAEL | The Magic of Michael Jackson Starring Ben
