This year, celebrate the element of water - the Trent, the Beck, Colwick Lakes, the Canal, and all the ponds of Sneinton, as well as the creatures that live in them, and the people work and play in them. Water is essential! From the ever popular International Food Evening to local history walks and talks, retro gaming and other fun events and activities – there’s plenty to keep you entertained and intriguid.

Located near the entrance of Wollaton Park, the Walled Garden has been transformed over the last few years by dedicated volunteers, and is now a beautiful space for growing flowers, plants, and vegetables. A fantastical puppet adventure, At Sea is an uplifting tale of a sailor’s triumph over darkness. A Sailor is lost without their Heart Compass. Journeying through coral reefs, a siren’s lair and to the very bottom of the ocean, can they escape the belly of the beast and find their way home?
Enjoy this non-verbal show, featuring stunning projections and music, suitable for ages 6+.
This event is part of the Nottingham Puppet Festival.
The Nottingham Puppet Festival runs from Saturday 27 June – Sunday 5 July. With puppetry performances from local, national and international artists, and small and large-scale puppetry also taking to the streets, the festival will present workshops, talks and screenings from key figures in the puppetry world.
