1. Mike Sanchez & The Portions

One of the most charismatic performers in the world of rock n roll and rhythm & blues, Mike Sanchez will be making his debut appearance at Peggy´s Skylight this Summer with his Quartet. Mike, who now lives in Spain has scheduled a 28-date UK Summer tour for 2026, and will be promoting his latest CD, LP and single, while performing his live & wild boogie woogie and rockin rhythms with the finest musicians, The Portions, featuring guitarist Tom Bull, bassist Nick Whitfield and drummer Mark Morgan.

Cinema at the Farm is HERE! White Post Farm are excited to be working with Notts Maze to bring their fantastic Outdoor Cinema nights to the farm! 3. Guilty - a National Justice Museum Escape Room

Step inside the historic gaol for the immersive escape room Guilty?!, where your decisions shape the ending. Along the way, your Games Master will transform into a host of different characters, guiding you as you try to escape your fate. Over the course of an hour, you and your team will move through our Grade II* listed Georgian museum, from the slums of Narrowmarsh, the exercise yard, and the gaol. Solve puzzles, and gather your evidence before deciding – how will your game end?

4. Proms in the Park Beeston 2026

Get ready for an afternoon of wonderful live music at Proms in the Park at Dovecote Lane Recreation Ground. This free music event features a brilliant musical lineup, including the Nottingham Concert Band performing community wind band favourites, alongside fabulous vintage singer Jayne Darling, who will be brining classic jazz hits to life. 2.00pm - Jayne Darling - Vintage Singer 3.05pm - Nottingham Concert Band Bring your chairs, blankets, and picnics and soak up the sounds of a live band. While limited parking is available for public and blue badge holders, visitors are highly encouraged to walk or cycle to the venue.


5. Nottingham Carnival

Sunday 16 August 2026 | 1pm - 8pm | Victoria Embankment | Tickets: Adult £8.80, Children (12 – 16) £4.40, Children 11 and under go free | Parade is FREE to watch

Grab your whistle, and bring your energy to Nottingham’s biggest Caribbean cultural event. Within the Carnival Village, you’ll find live performances and DJ sets to dance to all day, mouthwatering Caribbean food, a licensed bar, fairground rides and undisputed good vibes! Nottingham Carnival will feature an incredible seven hours of entertainment for every generation and background. Thousands of attendees will enjoy over 500 spectacular costumes and choreography from troupes taking part in the colourful Carnival Parade, which starts at 2pm and is free to watch.
